The Awards ceremony for the 2010 Pilbara Award was held at the Shire of Roebourne Offices on Tuesday 9 November.

Guest Speaker was Thomas Perrigo, CEO National Trust of Australia (WA).
Matt Keogh, Corporate Affairs Manager from Woodside presented the awards.



Winners each received a digital camera and Certificate.
Highly Commended entries each received a book, $50 book voucher and Certificate.
There were no entries in the years 8 - 10 category.

Year 1 - 3 winner for both the Story and Photography Awards is Tane Wann from Tambrey Primary School, Karratha with his story Our Trip to Cooya Pooya

Year 4 - 7 Story Award winner is Anahera Hinaki with her story Where Have the Turner's Gone?

Year 4 - 7 Photography Award winner is Tyler Brown with his image from A Night at Hearson's Cove.
